The Sabres Players Pathway
5-8 Year olds – Bee Ball. Conducted on Wednesday afternoons 4-4:50 p.m. and on Saturdays 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m., this program is ideal for players who have not had any experience with a basketball. (Click Here for more information)
7 year olds – 3 on 3 Learn the Game – Conducted on Tuesday afternoons 4-4:45 and on Saturdays from 10:00 to 10:45, this is where players learn the team skills and hone their individual skills whilst having fun. (Click Here for more information)
8 Year olds – Under 9’s Competition- Conducted on Friday afternoons, this competition is played on lower baskets and a size 5 basketball to make it easier for players to learn the skills of the game, especially shooting and ball handling. (To find a club Click Here)
9 Year olds – Under 10’s Competition – Conducted on Thursday afternoons, it is played on full height baskets and a size 6 basketball in order to aid in the transition from Domestic basketball to Representative Basketball. (To find a club Click Here)
